Night Parade Brewing Company began in late 2015 as "Voodoo Child Homebrewing", the brainchild of close friends James McCanna and Derek Langley, on Hendricks Drive in the Mira Mesa neighborhood of San Diego, California. James, together with beer and cider/mead homebrewers Jake Deardorff and Justin Buckingham, earned over 35 California state and county homebrew awards between the years of 2016 and 2020. Joined by Chuck Nation, a 15 year veteran of legendary San Diego county locations The Homebrewer, Longship Brewing Company, and Ketch Brewing Company, and Jennifer Keiser of San Diego Brewing Company and Savagewood Brewing Company, the Night Parade team offers a unique combination of talents within the San Diego craft brewing community.
